About the Role

As a security guard, your primary task is to deliver safety to our customers. You do this, for example, in a monitoring center or at an access control point. As a security guard, you have greater authority than a regular guard and often work closely with our customers' staff on objects that are crucial to Sweden's security. We are now looking for one person for daytime operations as an armed security guard and one person for nighttime operations as a security guard (unarmed).

The work is independent and is often perceived as free, but with a great responsibility.

The tasks are highly varied, and as a security guard, you can work both indoors and outdoors. The length of shifts varies, but they are often scheduled in 12-hour shifts. Since we operate every day of the year, weekend work is common.

You will, for example:

• Handle matters within your assignment area
• Ensure that no unauthorized persons have access to the objects
• Staff stationary objects as needed

Requirements

Qualifications

• You need to be a trained security guard with valid approval either civilian or military
• Have professional experience from the security industry
• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Driving license B

It is meritorious if you

• have worked with similar tasks before
• have an approved guard training and/or weapon training

In this position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) will be relevant, which requires Swedish citizenship.

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to the respective legislation, a background check will be conducted.
